Delete your SharePaws account

In the app

Profile → ☰ → Account → Delete account

The app shows what will be deleted and asks you to confirm.

If you're the only admin of an organization that has other members, make someone else an admin first. If you're its only member, the organization and its pets are deleted with your account.

Without the app

Email info@syncgr.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". If your account uses a phone number instead, put that number in your email: we'll text it, and you reply YES to confirm the request is yours. Once it's confirmed, we delete your account within 30 days.

What's deleted

• Your profile, name, photo and bio, and your sign-in
• Your listings, posts and photos
• Your follows, likes and comments
• Your messages and the photos you sent in chats
• The reviews about you and the ratings you gave
• Your saved pets, blocks, settings and notification tokens

What stays

• The other people in your chats keep their side of the conversation. Your name there shows as "Former member", and your messages are removed.
• Listings, posts and ratings you made for an organization belong to it, and stay with it.
• Moderation records (the warnings, removals and suspensions on your record, and the number of closed reports against you) are kept for 1 year, then deleted.
• Reports you made stay with their case and are deleted 1 year after it closes.
• Our database backups cover the last 35 days, so your data can remain in a backup for up to 35 days.
